With just four weeks at the helm, Dave brought fresh perspective and bold vision for the future of Conga. Helping customers navigate change and unlock opportunity

Dave began by acknowledging the challenges many businesses face today. The pace of change is accelerating. Global markets are shifting. Technology is evolving rapidly. And uncertainty is becoming the norm. But within this environment, he sees a powerful opportunity for transformation:

He reflected on past periods of disruption — from the dot-com era to the 2008 financial crisis to the COVID-19 pandemic — and reminded us that the businesses that thrive are those that align around a plan, eliminate the internal silos that slow them down, and seek deeper insight from the data they have available. These businesses are more efficient, agile, and better informed than their competitors and, in the end, they are best positioned to dominate in their markets.

Conga is focused on helping customers seize that opportunity. At the center of this effort is the Advantage Platform, a flexible and open foundation that integrates with existing systems and enables intelligent automation across the business.

This platform is designed to:

• Automate workflows using AI-powered assistants

Dave also emphasized that innovation involves helping customers unlock the full value of the tools they already have. Many of our customers are sitting on untapped potential, and Conga is committed to helping them realize it.

Strategic investments in technologies like Agentforce, along with expanded integrations with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, are part of our effort to make Conga more adaptable and more powerful for every customer.

Conga’s new “why”

One of the first questions Dave asked when he joined Conga was simple but important: Why do we exist?

This question sparked a company-wide reflection. The answer that emerged is now guiding our strategy and our culture:

“Conga exists to accelerate our customers’ ability to become more connected, intelligent businesses.” 

To deliver on that vision, Conga needs leadership with experience in transformation, innovation, and growth.

Dave brings that experience. At Caseware, he led a major shift to cloud-based platforms and product modernization. At Virgin Pulse, he focused on aligning with partners and driving adoption of new solutions. He has also worked closely with private equity boards that expect strong performance and long-term value creation.

He joined Conga because he saw a company with a strong foundation and a bigger opportunity to focus on innovation. He also saw a clear opportunity to align around a shared purpose and unlock even greater potential.
